Our Pond!

It is the end of the season for our frogs and soon they will be hibernating for the winter. Our young frog caretaker has been watching and studying them all summer and has provided us with a post summer reflection.

Old Mill Inn Frog Pond

Julie relaxing in the pond.

“Julie is a sweet leopard frog. Dave is a big green frog and loves to eat dragonflies. Frosty is a frog who has nice green skin. Last spring Julie and Dave had a baby frog named Brownie. Julie sometimes brings baby frogs to my pond. the baby frogs names are Jumper, Cleo and Shiny. There are three toads one is a baby and too is a huge one. The toads names are Toady, Tiny and Hopper.”

We hope to see them again, safe and happy, next spring.

“This is a gorgeous B&B. The Reading Room is delightful. The old architecture interior, combined with modern convenience, along with a New England autumn equals perfection. Thank you!”
